Refunds and cancellations
Effective 19 October 2026. This page summarises sections 6 and 7 of the licence agreement, which governs if the two differ.
Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel at any time. Use the link in any receipt or renewal email from Paddle, our reseller, to open your subscription and choose cancel, or email and we will cancel it for you within one working day.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for. You are not charged again, and nothing is removed: you keep a perpetual licence to the last version released during your paid term, and the last Licence Key issued to you keeps working on those versions indefinitely. Support, updates and keys for newer versions stop when the paid period ends.
Refunds
If within thirty days of your first purchase the Software fails to open a workbook that you reasonably expected it to open, and we cannot fix it, we refund the purchase in full on request. Email the workbook, or a description of it if it is confidential, to .
If we were charged twice for the same seat, or a renewal went through after you had asked us to cancel, we refund the duplicate or mistaken charge.
Otherwise fees are non-refundable. We do not pro-rate or refund the unused part of a billing period after cancellation, and we do not refund renewals that were not cancelled before the renewal date. The Software can be evaluated in full, free, on localhost and staging before you buy, and the live demo runs the same code, so please try it first.
Refunds are made by Paddle to the original payment method, normally within five to ten working days of approval.
Changing plan or seats
Upgrades from Viewer to Professional, and additional developer seats, are charged pro rata for the rest of the current period. Downgrades and seat reductions take effect at the next renewal. Email with what you need.
Business customers
Sheetwarden is a developer tool sold for business use. Statutory consumer cancellation rights do not apply to business purchases; the rights above are what we offer contractually.
